TRUE Brands Barware & Serveware
True Brands is the leading designer and supplier of beverage lifestyle accessories worldwide. I was tasked with creating designs for some new barware and serveware items, in their “fast fashion” line. This project allowed me space to play and have fun with some kitschy and silly phrases. I really enjoyed getting to stretch my lettering skills and just play with type in a variety of ways.

The goal with these pints and stemless wine glasses was to take some relatively simple phrases and design them in a way that felt elevated. I’m a firm believer that design—good design especially—is for everyone, so I wanted to bring a sense of thoughtfulness to them. There is a very specific market for products like this and my hope was to design these in a way that they would stand out next their competition on the shelf.
